Move-In & Move-Out Cleaning in Northwest Florida

Moving Is Stressful. This Part Doesn't Have to Be.

Anyone who has moved knows the last week. Boxes everywhere, a truck to load, utilities to transfer, and a long list of things you still have to do — and somewhere near the bottom is "clean the whole house." It's the task that always gets rushed, and it's the one that costs you money when it does.

Coast to Coast Professional Cleaning handles move-in and move-out cleaning across Northwest Florida from Pensacola to Destin. We work with renters closing out a lease, homeowners preparing for a closing, realtors getting a listing photo-ready, property managers turning over units, and families who simply want their new house clean before the first box comes through the door.

The work is different from a routine clean, and it's worth understanding why. Move-out cleaning is judged against someone else's checklist — a landlord's inspection sheet, a buyer's final walkthrough, a property manager's turnover standard. That means the priorities shift: oven interiors, refrigerator interiors, inside cabinets and drawers, closets, blinds, window tracks, bathroom grout, baseboards, and any evidence that someone used to live there. On an empty home we can reach every square inch of floor, which is where a lived-in cleaning always falls short.

If you're leaving a rental and want your deposit back, or arriving somewhere new and want to start clean, this is the service to book. We respond to estimate requests within 24 hours.

Move Cleaning FAQs

What Movers Ask Us Most

Answers for renters, buyers, sellers, and property managers across the Emerald Coast.

What's the difference between a move-out clean and a regular cleaning?
A move-out clean is a handover clean, and it's judged by someone else's checklist. A regular cleaning maintains a home you're living in — it assumes furniture, belongings, and daily use. A move-out clean happens on an empty home and targets everything an inspector, landlord, buyer, or property manager actually examines: inside the oven and refrigerator, inside cabinets and drawers, closets and shelves, blinds and window tracks, baseboards, bathroom grout, and any trace of the previous occupant. Because the home is empty, we can reach floors and surfaces that are normally blocked, which is why the results are so much more thorough.
Will a move-out clean help me get my security deposit back?
It's one of the most effective things you can do, and it's the reason most of our move-out clients book in the first place. Deposit disputes almost always hinge on the same short list: the oven interior, the refrigerator, inside cabinets, bathroom grout and caulk lines, blinds, baseboards, and carpet condition. A professional move-out clean addresses every item on that list with documentation-visible results. We can't promise what a specific landlord will decide, but we can tell you that a documented professional clean removes the most common grounds for a deduction.
Do you clean before a home goes on the market?
Yes, and it's one of the highest-return services we offer for sellers and realtors. A deep move-out or pre-listing clean is what makes the difference in professional listing photography — clean windows, streak-free glass, spotless fixtures, and no dust on baseboards or trim. Realtors across Escambia, Santa Rosa, and Okaloosa County book us ahead of photo shoots, open houses, and final walkthroughs. Because we work on empty or staged homes, we can be thorough in a way a lived-in cleaning simply can't.
Should I clean before move-in or before move-out?
Ideally both, but if you only pay for one, clean before you move in. Moving into a professionally cleaned home means you're not spending your first week scrubbing someone else's oven, and it means you're starting in a space you know is sanitary — particularly important with young children or anyone with allergies. If you're vacating a rental and want your deposit back, the move-out clean is the priority instead. Some clients book both: a move-out clean at the old address and a move-in clean at the new one.
How far in advance should I schedule a move-out cleaning?
Book as early as you can — ideally one to two weeks before your move-out date. The end of the month is the busiest period for move-out cleans across Northwest Florida because leases and closings cluster there, so the last few days of a month often fill up first. If you have flexibility, a mid-month closing date makes scheduling easier. That said, we do accommodate short-notice requests when our schedule allows, so it's always worth calling even if your date is close.
